Galveston's Neighborhoods

Galveston is made up of dozens of neighborhoods - small and large, old and new, residential and commercial - that criss-cross the island from one end to the other. The two main areas of the island are "In Town" and "West End."
"In Town" refers to the "East End" of the island from Bodeker Drive (the road that runs along the Galveston jetty at the easternmost tip of the island) to 103rd street.
"West End" refers to all areas west of 103rd street, to San Luis Pass, which is at the westernmost tip of the island.
